Now that you've started laying your base for the UA All Out Mile, this week you're going to add some speed work and look at your running style.
Again, you're going to do five slow, hour long runs focusing on shorter strides and a faster cadence. Use your hip bones as your 'headlights' to drive your posture.
At the end of each long run you're going to add four 'strides' to your workout. These are 80m runs where you start out at your long run pace and finish at 90% of your full speed.
Keep up the training & diet and you're well on your way to smashing the All Out Mile by the 5th of June.
