Here are four standout trips to consider:

  1. Namaqualand Flower MTB Tour - 3 Days Riding | 4 Nights Accommodation

Every spring, the arid expanses of Namaqualand explode into a sea of colour, with millions of wildflowers carpeting the rugged landscape in a spectacle unlike anywhere else on earth. The Namaqualand Flower MTB Tour invites you to experience this natural marvel from the saddle of a mountain bike, covering remote terrain inaccessible to most travelers.

Over the course of three days, riders traverse approximately 140–155 km, with manageable daily ascents ranging between 450 m and 650 m. Each ride is carefully crafted to showcase the best of the region: private farms ablaze with blooms, historic trails like the old Copper Route, and charming Namaqua villages where time seems to stand still.

Accommodation is provided in comfortable en-suite lodges near the flower zone’s core, such as O’Kiep, ensuring riders end each day with hot showers, hearty meals, and front-row seats to spectacular sunsets over wildflower plains.

Guided by TriSport’s experienced team, this tour is more than just a ride—it’s an immersion into South Africa’s most magical floral season, with sights and smells that will stay with you long after the last pedal stroke.

  1. Tsitsikamma 3-Day MTB Tour - 3 Days Riding | 3 Nights Accommodation

For riders who crave forested singletrack, coastal cliffs, and crisp mountain air, the Tsitsikamma 3-Day MTB Tour offers an unforgettable journey through one of South Africa’s most biodiverse regions. Spanning just over 150 km in total, this tour weaves through the ancient indigenous forests, river valleys, and escarpments of the Garden Route’s

Tsitsikamma region.

Day 1 kicks off with 45 km of flowing forest trails and an 850 m climb, followed by a challenging 67 km ride on Day 2 with 1085 m of elevation gain. The final day closes with a rewarding 44 km ride and another 763 m of ascent, bringing the total tour to just under 160 km. But it’s not just about the numbers—it’s about the experience.

Riders stay in luxury dome-style Biocamps, designed with sustainability and comfort in mind. Each camp offers proper beds, hot showers, communal dining areas, and a front-row seat to the quiet wilderness that defines the Tsitsikamma. With expert guides leading the way, riders explore dramatic gorges like Bloukrans, overlook the iconic Otter Trail, and uncover remote waterfalls and natural pools. This tour is ideal for those who want both adrenaline and serenity—wrapped in eco-luxury.
