Under Armour have launched their first all out super-shoe, the Flow Velociti Elite 2, with a bang!
First we saw Jamie Riddle stamp his ticket to the Olympic Games in Paris with a dominant win at SA Triathlon Championships in Nelson Mandela Bay in the new shoe.
Days later the same super light, carbon plated, high stack height, rubber less outer racing shoe was seen leading the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon for a long stretch.
We had a chance to join the Under Armour squad, coached by the legend Andrew Booyens who coached record setting Gerda, for a warmup run the day before Oceans. The group included Jenet Mbhele who finished 4th overall and Khoarahlane Seutloali who bravely ran in front of a stacked field for a long part of the race.
