The Endorphin Azura stands out straight away with a modern, performance-inspired design. The tall rocker-shaped midsole and lightweight upper give the shoe a fast, athletic look that clearly places it within Sauconyās Endorphin family. It feels well finished and thoughtfully put together, with the kind of clean design for which Saucony has become well known.
The upper feels light and airy straight out of the box, weighing in at 250g for a size 45. The material is breathable and flexible, and the shoe settles nicely around the foot once laced up. Fit felt true to size and secure without feeling restrictive. Around the heel, thereās enough structure to keep things stable, while the midfoot hold felt dependable throughout the run. Overall, itās a very comfortable step-in experience with no obvious pressure points.
Underfoot, the Azura features Sauconyās PWRRUN PB cushioning, a foam known for its lightweight and responsive feel. With approximately 40mm of cushioning in the heel and around 32mm in the forefoot, giving it an 8mm drop, the shoe sits comfortably in the high-cushion category. The rocker-shaped geometry helps the shoe roll smoothly through the stride, making it easy to settle into a rhythm.
On the run, the Azura feels steady and composed underfoot. Itās happy ticking over at everyday training paces and makes it easy to lock into a comfortable rhythm. While it doesnāt necessarily jump out in terms of bounce or energy return, it feels balanced and dependable across a range of runs. The outsole uses rubber coverage in the heel and forefoot, providing solid grip on the road and a reassuring sense of traction.
Verdict:Ā The Endorphin Azura feels like a dependable all-round training shoe. It handles steady miles comfortably and feels capable across a variety of runs.
