The Saucony Endorphin Azura adds a new option to the brand’s Fast & Light category positioned as a non-plated daily trainer designed to balance cushioning, responsiveness and versatility across a range of running sessions.
The shoe features Saucony’s PWRRUN PB midsole foam which is used here to provide cushioning for daily mileage while remaining responsive enough for faster-paced running. Without the use of a plate, the Endorphin Azura is intended to offer a more natural ride feel within a lighter, performance-oriented platform.
A defining element of the Endorphin range is Saucony’s SpeedRoll geometry and it’s also incorporated into the Azura. This design is intended to support smoother transitions through the gait cycle, particularly when running at higher speeds, while maintaining efficiency during steady-paced efforts.
Outsole durability and traction are handled by XT-900 rubber which is placed in key wear areas to support longevity without significantly increasing weight. This layout aligns with the shoe’s positioning as a lightweight option designed for regular use across training and workout sessions.
With an 8mm offset and a stack height of 40mm at the heel and 32mm at the forefoot, the Endorphin Azura sits firmly within the cushioned daily trainer category while maintaining a relatively low overall weight. Listed weights are 240g for men size US 9 and 212g for women size US 8, reflecting its placement within Saucony’s lighter training lineup.
